Limited Edition of 18 Hand-stamped prints using these shapes!

This relief reduction print was created using hand cut rubber + speedball inks hand-stamped onto paper with an acid free mat and foam backing. It measures 5″ x 7″. It was inspired by the view from my window of Mount Tamalpais and the sailboats gliding across San Francisco Bay. The reduction printing process starts with printing a background color from the rectangle rubber plate before it is carved. The next step is to carve away the background of the image on the stamp and print it on top of the color rectangles. The last step is to carve away everything except the outline and that is stamped on top of the background color and flat shape. Each one is unique and some of them have colored pencil embellishments drawn onto them.
