Description
STARTS APRIL 4th!
In this course we will each make two different color wheels and investigate a variety of color combinations and a variety of color grids. We will explore warm, cool, analogous, complementary, monochromatic color schemes and more. The first half of class students will be following step by step demonstrations. During the second half of class everyone will have ample time to create or start a personal piece using the techniques and ideas learned in the demos. Students may continue to explore in between classes. If you love color this is the class for you! This class is suited well for beginners, professional artists, and everyone in between – especially color enthusiasts. It will be a nurturing space that inspires the student to move towards their creative edge.
This is an adult course, but teens are welcome to participate as well. Children under 13 may accompany an adult taking the course.
COST: By Donation (students have been paying anywhere from $5 – $50 per class which comes out to $20-$200 for the whole course. Please pay what matches your financial means and needs.
DATES: We will meet on Fridays April 4, 11, 18, 25 – 11am – 1pm (Pacific Time)
Each class will be recorded that day and the link to view it will be sent along with the notes from the class each week. Recorded classes are only available to those who register for the class so we can keep a safe and nurturing space for those to express themselves.
