MON. Apr + May 2022 Mixed Media Art Journaling

STARTS Monday, April 4th!

I’m so excited to pick up art journaling again! We explored it for 7 months during the pandemic and it was one of the practices that got me through those months. I’m looking forward to exploring more ways to express our thoughts, feelings, and process experiences using imagery + words.

DATES: We will meet Mondays April 4, 11, 18, 25 AND May 9, 16, 23 (WE WILL SKIP MEMORIAL DAY) 5-7pm Pacific Time,

**NOTE – This same class will be running both months of April and May. You can choose to sign up for either month or both – all 8 weeks. PLEASE ADJUST YOUR PAYMENT ACCORDINGLY. You will receive all 8 classes (live and recorded) if you sign up for April, you get to choose when you want to join us.

Description

STARTS Monday, March 4th!

I’ve been keeping art journals for 30 years and I’d love to share my methods, techniques, inspiration, prompts, and journaling passion with you! Let’s dive in together for a visual JOURNEY… You get to choose which media you will be using + the option of focusing on a theme to work with in your journal for the 8 weeks. You may also choose to make separate pieces of art instead of journal pages. We will also explore hand lettering! Perfect for all levels.

This is an adult course, but teens are welcome to participate as well. Children under 13 may accompany an adult taking the course or be accompanied by an adult.

COST: BY DONATION (students have been paying anywhere from $5 – $50 per class which comes out to $20-$200 for the whole course.) Please pay what matches your financial means and needs, even if you cannot afford to pay.

Each class will be recorded that day and the link to view it will be sent along with the notes from the class each week. Recorded classes are only available to those who register for the class so we can keep a safe and nurturing space for those to express themselves.
