*NEW! 2 Hour Video Course

Learn how to make two different color wheels – one with using all 12 colors on the color wheel and one only using 3 colors and mixing the rest. You will get a list of colors to use, suggestions for supplies (you can use any media you choose, but I used Inktense Pencils and guide you through adding water to turn them into ink!), and links to YouTube videos that you can keep forever. If you love color – this is the project for you!

NOVEMBER COURSE MONDAY PM

In this course we will explore different ways to incorporate words and pictures together on each page. If you love to keep a writing journal and to draw this course is for you! Each class we will explore different themes, styles of creating pages, and I will give prompts and ideas for everyone to create a finished page. A visual journal is a wonderful way to document your experiences throughout your life.

Adding color is optional. If you just want to work in Black and White, that’s fine with me!

Starts NOVEMBER 9th!

DATES: We will meet on Mondays, November 9, 16, 23, 30

Each class will be recorded that day and the link to view it will be sent along with the notes from the class each week. Recorded classes are only available to those who register for the class so we can keep a safe and nurturing space for those to express themselves.

NOVEMBER COURSE FRIDAY PM

In this course we will explore non-traditional watercolor techniques including salt, alcohol, Saran Wrap, wax resist and more. No prior experience with watercolor is needed. The focus of this class will be more on enjoying the joyful and expressive qualities of working with watercolor and less on the finished products – making art to make art!

Starts November 6th!

DATES: We will meet Fridays November 6, 13, 20, 27

Each class will be recorded that day and the link to view it will be sent along with the notes from the class each week. Recorded classes are only available to those who register for the class so we can keep a safe and nurturing space for those to express themselves.

NOVEMBER COURSE SATURDAY PM

In this 4 week course we will start with making a color wheel. In the remainder of the classes we will be experimenting with color combinations (commonly referred to as “color schemes”. If you have ever wondered what colors “go” together, how to use color to express emotions, wanted to learn some color theory, or just want to spend time PLAYING WITH COLOR – this is the course for you! We will be using watercolor or any other medium you are comfortable using to discover or re-connect with your love of color!

Some ideas for other media are: watercolor, Inktense or regular colored pencils, pastels (oil or water based), markers, gouache…

Class Starts on Saturday, November 7th!

DATES: We will meet on Saturdays, November 7, 14, 21, 28

Each class after that will be recorded that day and the link to view it will be sent along with the notes from the class each week. Recorded classes are only available to those who register for the class so we can keep a safe and nurturing space for those to express themselves.

NOVEMBER COURSE SUNDAY AM

In this Part Two Class we will take layering even further with painting, stamp-making, gelli plate printing, stenciling, collage and more! No art experience needed for this class – it’s more about the process than the finished product. All you need is a love of exploring different art materials!

You only need three different media to join this class and they don’t have to match what other students have. As long as you have some different materials, you can learn how to layer and maybe you will be inspired to go out and get more supplies! See the long form for suggested supplies for the class.

Starts November 8th!

DATES: We will meet on Sundays, November 8, 15, 22, 29

Each class will be recorded that day and the link to view it will be sent along with the notes from the class each week. Recorded classes are only available to those who register for the class so we can keep a safe and nurturing space for those to express themselves.
